Ioannis Vlachos

Ioannis Vlachos is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in systems architecture, project management, and neuroscience. Currently serving as Principal Systems Solution Architect at ONWARD since December 2021, Ioannis previously held the position of Program Manager at the Wyss Center for Bio and Neuroengineering, where responsibilities included managing the design, development, and verification activities for medical devices and software. With a strong academic background, including a Ph.D. in Computational Neuroscience from the University of Freiburg and multiple master's degrees in Cognitive Science and Electrical Engineering, Ioannis has contributed to various research initiatives, including closed-loop control methods for neurological treatments and high-bandwidth data acquisition systems. Previous roles also encompass technology transfer, network engineering, and project management across several organizations.
