Joachim V. Zitzewitz

Joachim v. Zitzewitz has a range of experience in various roles and companies. Joachim began their career in 2012 as a Postdoc at EPFL, where they worked on designing and supervising a gait laboratory. In 2016, Joachim joined GTX medical, initially as a Project Manager and Co-Founder. Joachim later became the Director of Therapy Development, overseeing the development of therapies. In 2020, Joachim transitioned to ONWARD, where they held the role of Director PMO and Therapy Development before being promoted to VP Therapy Development and System Engineering in March 2021.

Joachim v. Zitzewitz obtained a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from Technische Universität Graz in 2004. Joachim then pursued a Master's degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering at the same institution from 1999 to 2005. In 2001, Joachim v. Zitzewitz spent a year as a visiting student at Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV), studying Mechanical Engineering. Joachim further continued their education and completed a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from ETH Zürich in 2011.
