Tim Self is an experienced aerospace professional currently serving in Commercial Space Systems Engineering & Integration at Onyx Aerospace since May 2023. Tim has been the President of Self Technologies, Inc., a Woman-Owned Small Business S-Corp, since 2007, providing engineering expertise and project management support to NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center. Leadership roles at NASA include Life Cycle Review Lead for the Mars Ascent Vehicle Project and SME for Government Program Insight/Oversight Engagements. Tim also contributes to NASA's Space Launch System Program as an SME for Program Integration and Operations, overseeing its transition from pre-formulation to implementation. Other notable positions include Chief of Staff for NASA's Ares Projects and various Program Integration roles at NASA and SAIC. Academically, Tim holds an MSE in Industrial and Systems Engineering and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Alabama in Huntsville.
