We started Onyx Core with a simple belief: the best companies solve real problems for real people.
As a holding company, we don't just invest in ventures—we build them from the ground up. Our portfolio focuses on education tools—from classroom learning to athletic programs—where outdated systems have left students, teachers, coaches, and families underserved for too long.
Our approach is hands-on. We're founders, operators, and builders. Every company under the Onyx Core umbrella shares our commitment to accessibility, innovation, and impact. We're not interested in incremental improvements. We're here to reimagine how things work.
Today, our ventures include Atlas Education (learning management), Meridian Press (affordable textbooks), Orbital (AI tutoring), Axiom (math problem resources), and Sentry Sports (athletics operations). Each tackles a different challenge, but they share a common thread: making high-quality tools accessible to everyone, not just those who can afford premium prices.
We're a young company with ambitious goals. We believe education should adapt to how students actually learn. We believe a math textbook shouldn't cost more than a car payment. We believe coaches deserve technology that works as hard as their athletes do.
If you're an educator, administrator, coach, or parent looking for partners who understand your challenges—we'd love to connect. We're building companies that matter, and we're just getting started.
