Mark Scrimshire is a seasoned professional in health and cloud technology with extensive experience in interoperability solutions for the health insurance market. As the Chief Interoperability Officer at OnyxHealth since May 2020, Mark leads the development of standards-based solutions. Mark also serves as a Health and Cloud Technologist at ekivemark.com and co-founded HealthCamp, a non-profit that promotes consumer engagement in health through international conferences. Previous roles include innovating the Blue Button 2.0 API at the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services and leading entrepreneurial initiatives within the US Department of Health and Human Services. Mark's career includes significant leadership positions at Medyear, 3M Health Information Systems, and CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield, showcasing a strong commitment to patient empowerment and data interoperability in healthcare. Mark holds a BA Hons degree in Business Studies from Coventry University.
