Tony Trenkle

Tony Trenkle is the CEO of TTrenkle Consulting LLC, specializing in strategic consulting for IT and healthcare sectors since January 2018. Previously, Trenkle served as Chief Health Information Officer for IBM, focusing on go-to-market strategies for the U.S. healthcare payer segment and providing strategic direction for IBM Federal software's healthcare solutions. Earlier experience includes significant roles at the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services as Chief Information Officer and Director of Information Services, where oversight encompassed a $2 billion IT budget and substantial personnel management. Additionally, Trenkle held leadership positions at the Social Security Administration and General Services Administration, contributing to the development of federal electronic commerce initiatives. Trenkle holds a B.A. in Economics and History from the University of Maryland Baltimore County and continued education at Loyola University Maryland.
