Brian Allan has extensive experience in finance and operations roles, spanning over several industries.

Brian'smost recent position is as the CFO at Onyx Insight, a global leader in predictive analytics for the Wind sector. In this role, Brian leads a team of over 100 staff and develops innovative technology solutions for customers in the Wind sector.

Prior to Onyx Insight, Brian worked as the CFO and COO at Aperture Group, where they successfully renegotiated banking facilities and led the refinancing of debt facilities. Brian also focused on improving working capital and managing asset-based lending facilities.

Before that, Brian served as the CFO and COO at Cinram, a private equity-backed FMCG manufacturer and logistics business. Brian played a crucial role in transforming the business for private equity backers and was responsible for finance and operations in the UK, France, and Germany.

Brian also held senior positions at Technicolor, where they served as the Senior VP Commercial and Strategic Director - COO, Chief Finance Officer (CFO) - Home Entertainment Services (HES) Europe, European Finance Director, and UK Finance Director. In these roles, they managed cash flow, led merger and acquisition reviews, and had full P/L and B/S ownership.

Earlier in their career, Brian worked at PepsiCo as the Financial Controller for Europe and Middle East, where they oversaw the implementation of an ERP system and managed a major restructuring project. Brian also served as the Leader for Advantaged Integrated Europe Program.

Brian's work experience also includes roles at EMI Music as a Commercial Controller, Next Retail Chain as a Finance Manager, and EY (formerly Ernst & Young) as a Business Services Accountant.

Brian Allan completed their education at various institutions. In 1996, they began studying for their MBA at Aston University, focusing on Business Administration. Brian graduated in 1999. In 2015, Brian attended London Business School, where they specialized in financing the entrepreneurial business, although they did not complete a specific degree. Brian also pursued professional qualifications, obtaining the ACA designation from ICAEW and the FCMA designation from The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants. In 2016, they enrolled in the University of Cambridge's MSt Construction Engineering Masters (CEM) Program, a renowned course in construction leadership. Brian completed this program in 2018.
