Jesse Marquisee started their work experience in 2016 as a Researcher at the Institute of Aviation. They then worked as a Server, Host & Bar Tender at Basil Thai from August 2017 to May 2018. In 2018, they had an internship as a Junior Cognitive Systems Engineer at Resilient Cognitive Solutions, where they learned various skills and created handoff specification documents. They also worked as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant at The Ohio State University, teaching fundamentals of engineering and assisting students with their final projects. From 2018 to 2020, Jesse worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and Graduate Research Associate at The Ohio State University, where they conducted research studies and designed intelligence analysis projects. In 2020, they returned to Resilient Cognitive Solutions as a Jr. Cognitive Systems Engineer, where they were responsible for designing user interfaces and analyzing complex socio-technical domains. Currently, Jesse is a Condition Monitoring Engineer at ONYX Insight, starting in March 2022.

Jesse Marquisee completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering from The Ohio State University. This education took place from 2014 to 2018. Following this, Jesse pursued a Master's degree in Cognitive Systems Engineering at The Ohio State University from 2018 to 2020. In addition to these academic achievements, Jesse obtained a certification in Human Subjects Protection (HSP) in September 2018 through the CITI Program, a division of BRANY.
