Tim Bennett

Tim Bennett has extensive work experience as an electronics engineer, with a focus on design and development. Tim is currently employed as a Senior Electronic Design Engineer at ONYX Insight since October 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Apec Systems as an Electronics Engineer from November 2019 to October 2022. Tim also served as an Embedded Design Engineer at Ignys Ltd from March 2019 to November 2019.

Tim has held various roles at MSF Technologies, including Concept and Systems Manager from October 2018 to March 2019, Electronics and Software Engineering Manager from February 2017 to October 2018, and Principal Electronics Engineer from June 2016 to February 2017.

Before that, Tim worked at Pera as a Competence Leader, Electrical and Electronics from February 2012 to May 2016. Tim was responsible for leading a team in electrical and electronics development, focusing on research and development for funded projects. Tim also completed the Pera Academy graduate program in 2013.

Tim has also worked at Pera Technology as a Technologist Electronic and Electrical Engineering from July 2010 to February 2012. Prior to that, they spent a significant portion of their career at GE Intelligent Platforms, where they held the role of Principal Engineer, Systems Applications Integration from August 1999 to May 2010. Here, they were responsible for system design, integration, and project management for ruggedized computer systems, including custom card and backplane design.

Earlier in their career, Tim worked at Gamble Food Control as a Hardware and Software Engineer from January 1994 to August 1999, where they were solely responsible for hardware and software development for electronic equipment used in the food service industry. Tim also worked at Marconi Radar and Control Systems Ltd as a Post Design Services Engineer/Test Engineer from January 1987 to January 1994.

Tim Bennett attended Nottingham Trent University from 1985 to 1987, where they pursued a HND in Electrical and Electronic Engineering. Afterwards, they enrolled at Pera Academy for Management Training in an undisclosed period of time, where they focused on Business studies.
