César Porras has had a diverse range of work experiences in research, management, and teaching roles. César served as a Technical Manager in R&D projects and Intellectual Property Manager at Onyx Solar Energy, where they managed European and National R&D projects and handled patent and trademarks management. Additionally, they worked as an Ad Honorem Professor at Universidad Politécnica de Madrid.
César Porras also worked as a Researcher at both Universidad Politécnica de Madrid and Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. At Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, they managed and coordinated a national research project and conducted various tasks such as thermal infrared thermography inspections, indoor quality monitoring, statistical analysis, and technical consultancy. César Porras has an extensive education history. César first attended the Centro de Estudios Santa María del Castillo from 1998 to 2003, where they obtained a degree in Delineación en Edificios y Obras. Following that, they attended the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid from 2003 to 2008, where they pursued a degree in Arquitectura Técnica. After completing their undergraduate studies, César returned to the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid from 2008 to 2010 to earn a Master's degree in Técnicas y Sistemas Constructivos. Subsequently, in 2010, they enrolled at the Universidad Nebrija for one year, where they pursued a Grado en Ingeniería de la Edificación. Lastly, from 2010 to 2014, César studied at the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid once again, this time completing a PHD in Engineering.
