OnyxPoint is an investment manager with a history of investing across the entire balance sheet of public and private companies with a focus on event-driven and value investments.

We specialize in businesses that serve the commodities sector. Our senior professionals draw on experiences across multiple disciplines in public markets, private equity, distressed credit, restructuring and litigation.

We employ an all-weather approach to identifying the highest risk-adjusted return opportunities across rising and falling markets. We believe that this flexible, interdisciplinary strategy facilitates the pursuit of consistently attractive returns regardless of market cycles.

OnyxPoint is known for finding opportunities that others often miss. Our singular focus is on investments characterized by downside protection along with significant upside optionality. Over the years, we believe that our success can be attributed, in large part, to a steadfast commitment to this principle of risk-return asymmetry.

Our reputation and our people are our greatest asset. We bring together talented individuals with a wide range of synergistic skills and independent thinking. Our values are characterized by a culture that prizes excellence, humility, innovation, learning from our mistakes and succeeding with integrity.
