Linda Roos

Linda Roos started their career as an HR Officer at Panasonic in 2002 and worked there until 2005. Linda then joined MortgageSA as a Senior HR Officer in 2005 for a brief period. In 2007, Linda became the Human Resources Manager at ooba, where they managed the HR team responsible for human relations across the sales force. Linda held this position until 2009 when they joined The Vineyard Hotel & Spa as the Human Resources Manager. Apart from their regular role, Linda was also involved in Symphonia's "Schools at the Centre of Community Project 2011." In 2011, they moved to The Petousis Family Hotel Group as the Manager of Group OD, HR & Social Investment. Linda worked there until 2014 when they returned to ooba as the Group Head of Human Capital. Linda's work experience focuses on HR management and strategic planning in various industries.

Linda Roos has a diverse education history. Linda obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Science from the University of South Africa/Universiteit van Suid-Afrika, completing their studies from 2018 to 2023. Prior to that, in 2010, Linda attended Worldsview Academy for a Development Programme in OD & Change Practice, focusing on Organisational Development. In 2009, they pursued a Management Development Programme from the Institute of Bankers (IOB) & BANKSETA. Furthermore, Linda holds a Diploma in HRM from Damelin, which they acquired in 2000, specializing in Human Resources Management.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Linda Roos has obtained various certifications. Linda is a Gallup Certified Strengths Coach, having completed the program in January 2021 through Gallup. In November 2019, Linda became a Prosci® Certified Change Practitioner, completing the certification at an institution called Prosci. Linda also holds the Human Resources Professional (HRP) certification awarded by SABPP, obtained in February 2019. In February 2016, they became an Ex-officio Commissioner of Oaths through SABPP. Additionally, Linda achieved certification as an HFM Talentindex Certified Practitioner from HFMtalentindex in September 2015. Finally, in June 2014, they completed the Science of Happiness @ Work certification program at the iOpener Institute for People and Performance.
