Giovanni Colella

Giovanni is the Co-Founder, Chairman and Co-CEO of OODA Health. Before OODA, he co-founded Castlight Health in 2008 with Todd Park and served as CEO of the company until 2017. Before co-founding Castlight, Giovanni was founder, president, and CEO of RelayHealth (acquired by McKesson in 2006), a pioneering healthcare company that provides secure digital communications to connect doctors with their patients.

Giovanni has also served in senior roles at Sapient and SAI and was a consultant at the Boston Consulting Group. Before beginning his business career, he practiced medicine in Manhattan and is a board-certified psychiatrist.

Giovanni graduated with an MD from the Universita Degli Studi di Milano in Italy. He completed his fellowship in public psychiatry at Columbia University, and earned his MBA from Columbia Business School. He is an avid reader and participates in book reviews with the OODA team.
