Bridget Harrington

Bridget Harrington has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Bridget began their career as an Administrative Assistant at KMB Business Advisors & Chartered Accountants, where they gained experience in office management. Bridget then worked as a Swim Instructor at Tanya's Travelling Tadpole Tuition, teaching children aged 1-16 and honing their organizational and lesson planning skills.

Bridget also served as a Sports Coach at MLC School Sydney, coaching water polo, hockey, and touch football to students in Year 6 to Year 9. During this time, they developed their leadership and program development abilities. Bridget then took on the role of Nanny, providing care for children independently.

Moving forward, Bridget joined Project Everest Ventures as a Recruitment Team Member and later became a Team Leader. In their leadership role, they managed a team of 7, overseeing program development, logistics, event coordination, crisis and conflict management, counselling, administration, and recruitment. Bridget was also responsible for maintaining project sustainability and impact.

Bridget diversified their experience further by working as a Sales Assistant and Management Trainee at Hardware & General Supplies Limited. Bridget demonstrated their passion for sales and ability to achieve targets in a team environment.

Bridget then transitioned to Sydney Legacy as a Fundraising and Logistics Coordinator, organizing major fundraisers and gaining a deeper appreciation for the work of the nonprofit sector. Currently, Bridget is working at oOh! as a Campaign Planning Coordinator.

Bridget Harrington began their education at Santa Sabina College in 2011 and completed their studies there in 2016. During this time, they did not earn a specific degree or focus on a particular field of study.

In 2017, Bridget enrolled at the University of Technology Sydney and pursued a Bachelor of Economics degree, specializing in Economics. Bridget successfully completed their studies in 2019.

Additionally, Bridget obtained several certifications. In 2017, they received a "Working With Children's Check" certification from the NSW Government. In 2018, they completed a "Standard - CPR/AED/First-Aid Certification Course" at CBD College.
