Greg Muir

Greg Muir has extensive experience in the field of information and cyber security. Greg most recently worked at oOh! as the Head of Information Security, a role they held since July 2020. Prior to that, they served as the Cyber Security Lead at oOh! from September 2017 to July 2020. Greg also worked at Memjet Technology as a Network & Security Architect from May 2012 to January 2017. Before that, they were a Network Security Engineer at Silverbrook Research from April 2009 to July 2012. Greg began their career at Telecom New Zealand, where they held the positions of Senior Security Specialist from May 2008 to December 2008, and Security Specialist from July 2005 to May 2008.

Greg Muir attended Unitec | Te Pūkenga from 1998 to 2002, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications. In addition to their degree, Greg also holds several certifications, including (ISC)2 Security CISSP (ISC2-CISSP) from (ISC)², CCNA from Cisco, CCSA and CCSE from Check Point Software Technologies, Ltd., and ITIL Foundations from ITIL. The specific dates of when these certifications were obtained are not provided.
