Mat Yelavich

An experienced technology executive with a strong background in leading large and complex technology change initiatives, Mat has delivered solutions for some of the largest and most respected global media and entertainment brands across Australia, the UK and the Middle East.

Mat joined oOh!media in October 2021 as Chief Technology & Information Officer to lead various digital transformation initiatives at a time of increasing opportunities for the Out of Home sector.

Previously he was CIO for Chartered Accountants Australia & New Zealand, and before that spent 10 years at Nine Entertainment in several positions, including Group Chief Information Officer. He played a major role in the digital transformation of one of Australia’s largest media organisations, leading the technology strategy as well as the extensive integration work following Nine’s acquisition of Fairfax Media.

Mat brings to his role expertise in product engineering, cloud technologies, cyber security and using data to drive personalization. He is passionate about building culture to support business outcomes and unlock innovation – an approach that has received industry-wide recognition.
