Kristy Mendes

Kristy Mendes has extensive experience in marketing, communications, and public relations. In 2021, they began working as the Associate Director of Marketing & Communications for OOLY, LLC. In 2020, they became the Director of Public Relations at the Fairmont Olympic Hotel, where they developed and executed strategic, integrated plans across public relations, marketing, social media, and digital communications. From 2013 to 2020, they held two positions at Revlon Inc., first as Education & Communications Manager for CND (Creative Nail Design) and then as Communications Manager for CND (Creative Nail Design). In this role, they managed and executed global corporate strategy and initiatives across public relations, social media, digital marketing, and the website for CND. From 2003 to 2013, Kristy worked as the Senior Manager of Player and Media Relations for the Oakland Athletics, where they acted as the team spokesperson and liaison between players, coaches, and C-Suite executives with the media.

Kristy Mendes graduated from the University of Iowa with a B.S. in Sports, Health, Leisure and Physical Studies, with an emphasis in Sports Studies and minors in Business and Communications.
