Alpana Jain

Alpana Jain is a seasoned accounting professional with a strong background in general ledger and tax accounting. Currently serving as a Senior GL Accountant at Ooma, Inc. since May 2016, Alpana is responsible for account analysis, accruals, and managing company-wide prepaid schedules. Previously, Alpana held the position of Senior Tax Accountant, overseeing compliance processes for sales/use tax and maintaining taxability matrices. Prior experience includes working as an Accountant at eGain Corporation, where responsibilities included month-end accruals and balance sheet reconciliations, and as Treasurer for the Portal School Community Organization. Alpana began the career as a Cost Accountant at IBM, focusing on inter-division account cost analysis. Educational qualifications include an MBA in Accounting and Finance from San Jose State University and a Bachelor's degree in Business from Delhi University.
