Volker Heistermann

Volker Heistermann is an advisor at oomii, a previous company being Mosaic Venture Lab. Volker has also worked with Trans-Pacific Technology Fund and Yushan Ventures, Inc. as the Managing Director from January 2011 to December 2018. At Yushan, Volker was responsible for leading corporate innovation engagements and sourcing startups and transforming technologies. Volker also drove technology scouting capabilities and created a robust opportunity pipeline to discover, develop, and commercialize innovative technologies in robotics, artificial intelligence, blockchain, and the Internet of Things (IoT). As a result of Volker's contributions, Yushan Ventures expanded from Asia, into Europe and the US. Volker has also played an instrumental role in creating Taiwan’s startup ecosystem, which has resulted in millions of dollars invested in new jobs and startups.

Volker Heistermann has a Bachelor of Arts in Financial Law from Bielefeld University, and a Certificate Program in International Marketing from the University of California, Berkeley Extension.
