Web Developer at Oomph

Brian Hogue has held a variety of roles in the tech and media industries since 2001. From 2001 to 2006, they worked as a Shift Supervisor for Newbury Comics, and as a Writer for The Agenda. In 2006, they held the roles of Copy Editor/Page Designer for the Kent County Daily Times and Manual Writer/Audio Engineer for Soundbox Corporation. From 2009 to 2010, they were an Intern for Highchair Designhaus. From 2013 to 2015, they were a Designer for Fivewise Design and a Consultant for Oomph, Inc. In 2015, they were also a Ruby on Rails Apprentice for Launch Academy, Inc. Finally, from 2016 to present, they have held the roles of Web Developer and Contract Web Developer for Oomph, Inc.

Brian Hogue's education history includes a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in English from Franklin Pierce University, which they obtained from 1997 to 2001. In 2010, they completed Continuing Education in Web Development: HTML from Minneapolis College of Art and Design. In 2015-2016, they obtained a Full Stack Web Development degree in Computer Software Engineering from freeCodeCamp. Brian also has additional certifications in One Month Rails from Mattan Griffel (obtained in March 2013), JavaScript Road Trip Part 2 and Part 3 from Code School, Shaping up with Angular.js from Code School, and Try jQuery from Code School.
