Hassan Abdul-Raheem Marafiah

Hassan Marafiah is Group Chief Officer – Small and Medium Business since January 2019.

Prior to this position, he was the Chief Executive Officer of Ooredoo’s Subsidiary Starlink, Qatar’s premium communications and media retail and logistics business. He held this position from November 2011 until December 2018, leading the company’s transformation and turning it around to become one of Qatar’s major players.

Mr. Hassan joined Ooredoo in 1987 and held several important positions in several departments, including Senior Director in Business solutions Department (2006 - 2011), where he was actively involved in major projects, showing excellent leadership and landing mega projects such as Hamad International Airport.

His previous positions included also Director in Residential Wireline Services, and Senior Sales Manager in Mobile Services.
