Liliana Velez

Liliana Velez is a seasoned telecommunication professional with extensive experience in technology economics and performance. Currently serving as Director of Technology Economics & Performance at Ooredoo Group since November 2021, Liliana previously held the position of Optimization & Service Assurance Senior Manager at Ooredoo Myanmar from September 2018 to November 2021. Prior roles include Principal Optimization Engineer at Amdocs, where Liliana focused on 4G and 3G network optimization for Claro Chile, and Service Delivery Manager at the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority in the UAE. Liliana also worked as Technical Project Manager at Indosat Ooredoo, overseeing LTE, WCDMA, and GSM network optimization, and developed skills as an RF Optimization Engineer during tenures at Nokia, handling various aspects of network capacity and tuning for different operators. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering from Universidad Santo Tomás Colombia.
