Nitin Anand

Nitin Anand has extensive work experience in the telecommunications industry, with a specialization in digital transformation and mobile money. Nitin is currently the Director - Digital & Mobile Money at Ooredoo Myanmar, where they have successfully led the growth and transformation of the company into a digital telco. Nitin has also played a key role in expanding the mobile money business and improving the overall digital experience for customers. Prior to this, Nitin served as the SVP & Business Head at DiGiSPICE Africa, the Chief Operating Officer at SGIT - FIntech, and the Chief Commercial Officer at Smile Telecom. Nitin also held various positions at Airtel Africa, including Business Head - Digital & 4G, Director - Products & Services, and VP - Data & Digital. Nitin's earlier experience includes roles at airtel, Red Hat, and Canon India Pvt Ltd. Throughout their career, Nitin has demonstrated a strong focus on digital innovation and driving business growth.

Nitin Anand attended Harvard Business School Executive Education in 2014, where they completed the Executive Course in Strategy, focusing on Strategy & Execution. Before that, they studied at Punjab University, where they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Marketing. Nitin also holds a Hons in Sciences - Physics from DAV. Additionally, they have certifications in Leadership Development from the Indian School of Business, Six Sigma Black Belt from ASQ - World Headquarters, and Strategy in Action from Harvard Business School Executive Education.
