Shouvik Ray

Shouvik Ray has extensive work experience in various roles and positions. Shouvik started their career as a Management Trainee at Luxor Writing Instruments Pvt. Ltd. in 1996. Shouvik then went on to work at Supreme Apparels Ltd. as a Senior Area Sales Manager from 1997 to 1998. After that, they joined Matsushita Battery India Ltd. as a Senior Area Sales Supervisor from 1998 to 2001. Shouvik then worked as the Manager of Sales at BPL Soft Energy Systems Limited from 2001 to 2005. At HDFC Life, they served as a Sales Manager from 2005 to 2006. Shouvik then joined VST Industries Limited as a Circle Manager from 2006 to 2007. At Bharti Airtel, they held several roles including Manager, ZSM from 2007 to 2009, Senior Manager, ZBM from 2009 to 2010, and Deputy General Manager, Market Operations, ZBM from 2010 to 2014. Shouvik continued their career at Bharti Airtel as General Manager, Market Operations, ZBM from 2014 to 2016. Currently, Shouvik is working at Ooredoo Myanmar, where they have held positions including Regional Sales Head from 2016 to 2017, Director & Regional Business Head from 2017 to 2022, and currently serves as the Head of Sales and Distribution.

Shouvik Ray completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from the Indian Institute of Planning and Management between 1994 and 1996. Prior to that, they obtained a B.Sc degree in science from St. Xavier’s College from 1991 to 1994.
