Erik van de Pieterman is a seasoned business developer with extensive experience in fostering entrepreneurship and innovation across various sectors. Currently serving as Business Developer Quantum at Oost NL, Erik focuses on advancing the quantum ecosystem in the East-Netherlands. Previously, as Co-Founder and CEO of Awaves, Erik contributed to the development of an AI-driven DJ platform aimed at revolutionizing the Dutch music industry. Erik also held significant roles at Hive01, including President of the Supervisory Board and Expansion Manager, where efforts centered on nurturing entrepreneurship among students. Other impactful positions include Business Developer at Science [&] Technology and Sensar, and Co-Founder of the startup community TEC Twente. Erik holds multiple degrees from the University of Twente, including an MSc in Entrepreneurship, Innovation & Strategy, and has a strong commitment to community engagement and academic mentorship.
