Wendy de Jong serves as the General Director of Oost NL since 2020, leading efforts in technological innovation and entrepreneurship for societal transitions towards climate-neutral energy, sustainable food, and accessible healthcare. In addition, Wendy holds the position of National Chair for ROM Nederland, overseeing regional development companies addressing societal and economic challenges. As an advisory board expert member for the InvestEU Programme, Wendy contributes to sustainable recovery funding initiatives. Furthermore, Wendy participates as a member of the Supervisory Board at Ambulance Amsterdam B.V. and as a lecturer at the Governance Academy. Past roles include Chair of the Audit Committee for the Autoriteit Financiële Markten and various supervisory positions within organizations such as DSM and the Reinier Haga Group. Wendy de Jong's academic background includes degrees from Leiden University and ongoing education at institutions including LSE and IMD.
