Julian Babarczy

Julian Babarczy has a long and varied work experience. Julian began their career in 2005 as an Analyst at Lazard. In 2006, they joined Regal Funds Management, where they held the roles of Portfolio Manager, Head of Australian Equities, and Portfolio Manager. In 2018, they became Executive Chairman and Non Executive Chairman at Perpetual Resources Limited. In 2020, they joined Jigsaw Investments as Chief Investment Officer, IXUP Limited as Non-Executive Chairman, ThinkMarkets as Strategic Advisor, Oovvuu as Non Executive Director, and ioneer Ltd. as Non Executive Director.

Julian Babarczy began their education in 1987, when they attended Caulfield Grammar School and obtained their VCE. In 1995, they attended Monash University and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business (Marketing). Julian then attended the Securities Institute of Australia from 1998 to 2002, where they obtained a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance & Investment. In 2004, they attended CFA Institute and obtained a general degree in Finance. Finally, in 2011 they attended Curtin University and obtained a Graduate Diploma in Mineral Exploration Geosciences with a focus on Geology/Earth Science.
