Wellington Leite

Wellington Leite has a diverse work experience in software development and technical roles. Wellington is currently working as a Software Developer at Oowlish, where they are developing a financial mobile app using React Native and TypeScript. Wellington has also contributed to Petco, a large US public company, by implementing significant features for their web platform using React, TypeScript, Python, and GraphQL API. In addition, they have worked on improving testing methodologies and documentation.

Prior to their current role, Wellington worked as a Freelance Software Engineer, resolving build-related issues on a mobile app and addressing backend issues. Wellington also implemented Sentry for issue monitoring. Wellington has also worked as a Software Developer at 5by5 Soluções em Sistemas, where they gained experience working on a large-scale project for a leading airline company in Brazil.

Wellington also has experience at SMARAPD as a Software Developer and Junior Software Developer, where they continued working on mobile app development projects. Wellington updated Azure's CI/CD process and documented the publishing process. Wellington has also worked at Williarts Gestão Web as a Junior Software Developer, where they added new features to a mobile application and collaborated on developing a medical appointment booking app. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Junior Software Developer at Ribnet, where they managed Google Ads, executed digital marketing initiatives, and resolved technical issues.

Before transitioning to software development, Wellington worked at BW Solutions as a part owner, responsible for administrative management and computer maintenance for a technical assistance company.

Wellington Leite is currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science at Descomplica Faculdade Digital, expected to be completed in 2025. Wellington has a particular interest in the field of Information Technology. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained several certifications: Algorithm II: MergeSort, QuickSort, Binary Search and Algorithm Analysis from Alura Cursos Online in July 2018, Algorithms I: Selection, Insertion and Introduction to Analysis from Alura Cursos Online in April 2018, and GoStack - NodeJS, ReactJS e React Native from Rocketseat in August 2020.
