Helen Lau

Helen Lau, CRCM, currently serves as the Senior Vice President and Risk Officer at Open Bank since October 2024. Prior to this role, Helen held the position of Vice President and Senior Internal Auditor at Bank of Hope from September 2022 to October 2024. Helen's extensive experience in compliance and risk management includes serving as the Senior Vice President and Compliance Officer at both Sunwest Bank and First Choice Bank from October 2021 to September 2022, and April 2014 to October 2021, respectively. Helen began a career in auditing as the Vice President at BBCN Bank from May 2013 to April 2014. Helen holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus on Marketing from California State University-Long Beach.
