Akseli Hirvonen

Akseli Hirvonen is a Specialist in International Banking at OP Financial Group since May 2023, focusing on banking regulation, money laundering prevention, and international client management. Prior to this role, Akseli served as a Client Onboarding Development Advisor, improving onboarding processes for international specialists in Finland. Akseli also gained experience as a Summer Trainee in International Banking and worked part-time as a Sales Specialist at Gigantti Oy. Akseli's earlier roles include serving in the Armoured Brigade of the Finnish Defence Forces and working as a substitute teacher. Currently enrolled at Metropolia University of Applied Sciences, Akseli is pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and International Business, alongside studies in Lifelong Learning and Sustainable Development at the University of Eastern Finland.
