Joel Kangas

Joel Kangas has an extensive work history with various companies and roles. Joel started their career as a Banking Advisor at Nordea in 2007, serving both Finnish and English-speaking customers. Joel then progressed to become a Group Manager, Team Manager, and eventually the Head of Innovation at Nordea.

In 2018, Joel joined OP Financial Group as the Head of Process Development and later transitioned to the role of Process Owner for Mortgages. Joel then became a Product Owner and eventually the Lead Product Owner. Currently, they hold the position of Business Lead at OP Financial Group.

In 2021, Joel also served as a Board Member at Hesatek Oy. Joel's work experience spans across various sectors, including banking, finance, and technology.

Joel Kangas obtained a Master's degree in Education from the University of Helsinki, where they studied from 2006 to 2011. Joel has also earned several additional certifications, including Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt, Lean Six Sigma White Belt, APV1, and SAFe Agilist Certification.
