Laura Hakamies

Laura Hakamies has a strong background in corporate lending, capital markets financing, and syndications. Laura started their career as a Manager in Investor Relations and Group Communications at SanomaWSOY in 2001. In 2003, they joined 3i Group plc as a Junior Associate. In 2009, they moved to OP Financial Group and worked as a Deal Manager/Director for Syndications and Structured Financing before becoming the Head of Syndications, Real Estate and Corporate Loans in 2011. From 2017 to 2019, they served as the Head of Corporate Lending and Capital Markets Financing at OP Financial Group. In 2020, they were promoted to Senior Vice President and took on the role of Head of Corporate Lending and Capital Markets Financing, responsible for various financing activities. Finally, in 2023, Laura became the Senior Vice President and Head of Corporate Banking at OP Financial Group. Laura has held positions of increasing responsibility and has significant experience in the banking and finance industry.

Laura Hakamies completed their M. Sc. in Accounting, Finance, and Economics from Helsingin kauppakorkeakoulu from 1999 to 2001. Prior to this, they earned their MA in Finnish, Communication, and Economics from the University of Helsinki from 1996 to 2000.
