Michael Peltonen

Michael Peltonen is an experienced cyber security professional currently serving as a Cyber Security Expert in the Governance team at OP Financial Group since August 2017. In this role, Michael focuses on guiding, developing, and supervising security measures within the organization. Prior to OP Financial Group, Michael worked at Nordea from September 2011 to August 2017, where responsibilities included overseeing authentication and fraud detection solutions for customers. Earlier experience includes a tenure as a Security Consultant at Ericsson, where work involved designing security solutions and conducting vulnerability assessments, as well as a role as a Security Trainee, during which a master’s thesis was completed. Michael's career began as a Software Developer at Process Vision, where planning and programming were key tasks. Michael holds a Master of Science in Telecommunications from the Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan, obtained in 2009.
