Soile Ihalainen

Soile Ihalainen currently serves as Senior Legal Counsel at OP Financial Group since June 2017, providing legal support for Capital Markets with a focus on Derivatives, Structured Investment Bonds, and Funding Issuances. This role involves managing legal matters related to bilateral OTC Derivatives and Central Counterparty clearing (CCP). Prior to this, Ihalainen worked at OP Corporate Bank plc from June 2006 to May 2017 as Legal Counsel, where responsibilities included legal support for Capital Markets with an emphasis on Derivatives, FX, and Structured Investment products, as well as overseeing ISDA and CSA agreements and participating in EU regulatory projects. Ihalainen holds a Master of Laws degree from the University of Turku, obtained between 1999 and 2004.
