Chris Chu

Chris Chu has a long and varied work experience. In 2017, they began working at OP Investment Management as an Assistant Portfolio Manager. Prior to that, from 2014 to 2017, they were employed at Fidessa as a Senior Developer. In this role, they worked on an order management system and execution management system using C++. Chris was also the Asia person-in-charge for components such as multi-market access and internal market. Chris analyzed requirements and proposed designs. Before that, from 2010 to 2014, they were employed at Carnarvon Management Limited as a Quantitative Research Analyst.

Chris Chu has a diverse educational background. Chris obtained a BEng and BBA from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology in 2010, majoring in Computer Engineering and General Business Management. In 2013, they obtained a Computing for Data Analysis certification from Coursera. Chris is currently pursuing an MSc in Financial Technology and Data Analytics from the University of Hong Kong, which they expect to complete in 2023.
