Gary Tamer

Gary Tamer is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in automotive exterior lighting. Gary currently serves as a Senior Engineering Manager at OPmobility, a role held since October 2022, and has previously undertaken similar responsibilities at Plastic Omnium. Prior to these positions, Gary spent a decade at Varroc Lighting Systems, where roles included Senior Manager of PD Engineering and Team Leader for New Business Pursuit. Gary's early career included significant positions at Visteon and Ford Motor Company, focusing on product development, manufacturing, and new model launches. Gary holds a Master of Science in Operations Management from Kettering University and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Michigan.
