Marissa West

Marissa West serves as the Executive Vice President and Chairperson of North America at OPmobility since 2025 and is a Mechanical Engineering External Advisory Board Member at the University of Michigan College of Engineering. Prior experience includes a notable tenure at General Motors from 2003 to 2024, where Marissa held various leadership positions, culminating in the role of SVP and President of North America, overseeing vehicle sales, service, and marketing, and serving as a Corporate Officer. Additional roles at GM encompassed leadership in truck engineering, leading the Canadian Regional Business Unit, and managing engineering operations related to noise, vibration, and driveline systems. Marissa holds a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan State University, complemented by executive education in Transformational Leadership and Design Thinking from Stanford University.
