Valerie Janos has a diverse work experience in the advertising and marketing field. Valerie started their career as a Sales and Marketing Intern at Hudson Harbor in 2014, where they promoted event rental space and organized events. Valerie then worked as a Social Media and Marketing Intern at Denelle Realtors. In 2015, Valerie joined Thompson & Bender as a Media and Events Coordinator, where they managed social media content and developed paid advertising plans. Valerie also served as a Jr. Account Executive, planning press events and managing media negotiations. Valerie then moved to Prestige Consumer Healthcare in 2017, working as a Social Media Strategist and later as a Digital Media Planner. In these roles, they executed social media strategies, managed content development, and analyzed digital ad performance. Most recently, Valerie worked at OpAD Media Solutions, starting as a Digital Media Strategist and progressing to Associate Director of Ad Operations before assuming their current position as Director of Ad Operations.
Valerie Janos holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree with Cum Laude honors in Public Relations from the University of Rhode Island. Valerie also participated in the ECES Program as part of their study abroad experience at Charles University. In terms of additional certifications, Valerie obtained the following: Datorama Power User | Specialist from Datorama, a Salesforce Company in November 2020, Excel: PivotTables for Beginners from LinkedIn in August 2020, IAB Digital Fundamentals Course from IAB in February 2020, and Facebook Certified Digital Marketing Associate from Facebook Blueprint in February 2020. Valerie's education history concludes with their participation in the New York Real Estate Salesperson program offered by the National Association of REALTORS®.
