Mike Opatik

Mike Opatik has extensive experience in manufacturing. Mike started their own company, Opatik Defense Manufacturing, in 2014 and served as its CEO. Prior to this, they worked at Macomb Sheet Metal Inc from 2002 to 2017 where they held various roles including Operations Manager, Sales Engineering Manager, and Cost Estimator. Mike also worked at Troy Tube & Manufacturing Co. in 1994 as a CNC Programmer.

Mike Opatik attended Eastern Michigan University from 1996 to 1999, studying in the College of Education. Mike then went on to attend Macomb Community College from 2000 to 2002, where they pursued Associate Level Studies in Mechanical Engineering. Opatik then attended Walsh College from 2002 to 2006, earning a BBA degree in Finance & Economics. Additionally, in June 1999, Opatik obtained a SCUBA Diving Certification from PADI.
