Dakar Em-Roei

Dakar Em-roei is a seasoned professional in the energy and manufacturing sectors with extensive experience spanning over two decades. Currently serving as Chief Engineer at OPC Energy since February 2018, Dakar Em-roei manages the commissioning of new equipment and power plants, leads performance analysis, and oversees operational KPIs. Previously, as Power Plant Manager, responsibilities included managing commissioning handovers and leading warranty claims. Prior to OPC Energy, roles included Operations Manager and Plant Manager at Haifa Group, where operational results and cost reductions were key responsibilities, and Chief Process Engineer at Tate and Lyle, focusing on process development and optimization. Educational qualifications include a BSc in Chemical Engineering from Technion, an MBA in Finance from The Open University of Israel, and various specialized training programs in power plant operations and engineering.
