Oren Moshkovitz has extensive work experience in finance and accounting roles. Oren is currently serving as the VP of Finance at OPC Energy since December 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the VP of Finance at BAZAN Group Oil Refineries Ltd from June 2019 to December 2022. Oren also held various positions at Strauss Group Inc., including Group Treasurer from March 2017 to June 2019, Group Treasury Manager from March 2015 to March 2017, and Financial Controller from July 2010 to March 2015. Before joining Strauss Group Inc., they had an accounting internship at KPMG from December 2008 to July 2010. Their early career includes a role as an Assistance Controller at Bank of Israel from May 2007 to December 2008.
Oren Moshkovitz received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting and Economy from The Hebrew University in 2008. Oren later pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Finance Management at the same university, graduating in 2011. Their field of study for both degrees was primarily in the areas of Banking, Corporate, Finance, and Securities Law.

O.P.C. Energy is the first private electricity company in Israel. The Company was incorporated in 2010 and is active in the field of power generation and supply, including development, construction and operation of power plants, as well as power generation and supply to private customers and to Israel Electricity Corporation (IEC). The Company generated about 5% of the electricity consumption in Israel in 2018. The subsidiary, O.P.C. Rotem Ltd. holds a license for generating and selling electricity for a period of 30 years. The Rotem power plant is the first private power plant in Israel, which began commercial operations in July 2013, and has an installed capacity of 466 MW. In addition, there is the Hadera power plant with an installed capacity of up to 148.5 MW (commercial operation expected to start in the first quarter of 2020) and the Zomet power plan (a “Peaker Plant” – under development), with an installed capacity of up to 396 MW, holds a conditional license for the generation and sale of electricity.
