Miguel Angel Mendez

Miguel Angel Mendez is an experienced operations and asset manager with a robust background in renewable energy, specifically in photovoltaic (PV) and wind projects. Currently serving as Operations Manager and O&M Senior Area Manager at Opdenergy since September 2021, Miguel has previously held key positions at Cubico Sustainable Investments, Silver Ridge Power, and SunPower Corporation, where responsibilities included overseeing cross-regional asset management, optimizing performance of PV power plants, and managing plant commissioning activities. Miguel's early career involved roles in quality management and construction management, further establishing a strong foundation in quality standards and project execution. Miguel holds a BNatSci from Granada University and multiple post-degree qualifications in health and safety management, quality management, and renewable energies.
