Tomas Collantes

Tomas Collantes has significant experience in the finance industry, particularly in corporate finance and structured finance. Tomas began their career at Optima Corporate as an Analyst/Associate, where they worked from 2006 to 2008. Tomas then joined Caja Madrid as an Investments Manager from 2008 to 2011. In 2011, they transitioned to PwC, where they worked in Corporate Finance until 2013. Tomas then joined Abengoa, where they focused on structured finance from 2013 to 2015. From 2015 to 2017, they worked at IBC Solar AG, specializing in M&A and Project Finance. Currently, they are the Chief Financial Officer at Opdenergy, holding various roles since joining the company, including Head of M&A and Project Finance, and Chief Corporate Development and Structured Finance Officer.

Tomas Collantes completed an Executive MBA program in Business Administration and Management at IE (Instituto de Empresa) from 2013 to 2014. Prior to that, they pursued a Programa Superior en Financiaciones Estructuradas y Capital Riesgo at IE Business School from 2008 to 2009. Earlier in their education, from 2000 to 2005, they obtained a degree in Administración y dirección de Empresas with a specialization in auditing from CUNEF.
