Asmaa Yaseen

Asmaa Yaseen is the Chief Modeling and Forecasting Analyst at the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC), specializing in translating complex market dynamics into actionable insights for the energy sector. They previously served as the Chief Economics Researcher at the Oil Marketing Company of Iraq (SOMO) and held various roles in economic research and teaching at institutions such as Dodge City Community College and the University of Kansas. Asmaa earned a Ph.D. in Applied Microeconomics from the University of Kansas, where they also contributed as a research assistant and fellow. Their work reflects a strong passion for leveraging quantitative analysis to inform decision-making in the energy value chain.
