Jim Sikes is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the culinary and music fields. Since 2005, Jim has served as a Food and Wine Columnist for the Opelika-Auburn News, while concurrently conducting the East Alabama Civic Chorale since 2000. Jim owned and operated Jimmy's Restaurant, a fine dining establishment recognized with Wine Spectator's Award of Excellence, from 2005 to 2014. Additionally, Jim contributed to the academic community as a Choral Director and voice faculty member at Chattahoochee Valley Community College from 2003 to 2006. Jim holds a Bachelor of Music degree from Auburn University and a Master of Music degree from Louisiana State University.
