Bill Moss has a diverse background in law and risk management, with significant experience in both the insurance industry and public service. Since January 2014, Bill has served as a volunteer greeter for Choose Chicago and as a volunteer for Open Books. Prior to retirement in 2013, Bill was involved in risk assessment at Zurich Insurance and held positions in litigation management and claims counsel at various insurance companies. Bill’s earlier career included serving as a Senior Trial Attorney for the City of Detroit, representing police officers in civil rights cases. Bill holds a JD from Wayne State University Law School and a BA in Pre-law from Alma College.
