Chandrika Kaul is an experienced research consultant and data analyst with a strong background in open data practices and analytics. Currently at Open Data Watch since April 2014, Chandrika promotes open data access for National Statistics Offices and works on gender data development indicators. At Microsoft, starting in October 2016, Chandrika has contributed to the Open Data Project and served as a Program Coordinator in Research for Cloud + AI, managing customer relationships and metrics development using Microsoft Power BI. Previous roles include Senior Data Analyst at iHeartMedia, Data Researcher at Google, and Metadata Editor for The World Bank. Chandrika holds a Ph.D. in Economic Geography from Jiwaji University and has a significant history in data management and analysis across multiple organizations, including Wolfram Alpha and Microsoft's various departments.
