Mia Houlberg

Director Clinical Support Services at Open Door Community Health Centers

Mia Houlberg has a diverse work experience spanning a range of roles and responsibilities. Mia started their career in 1998 at UC Davis as a Facilities Manager, where they successfully managed the educational facilities of the Interdisciplinary Electronic Arts Lab and Photography Department. Mia'sresponsibilities included equipment purchase and maintenance, inventory management, and budget reconciliation.

In 1999, Mia joined CompassPoint Nonprofit Services as an Office Manager. Mia contributed to the smooth functioning of the organization by overseeing daily office operations and physical plant maintenance. Additionally, they were responsible for employee recruitment and training, HR benefit administration, and payroll reporting. Mia also established and maintained equipment contracts and vendor relationships.

From 2001 to 2003, Mia worked as a Facilities Coordinator at Dolores Street Community Services. During their tenure, they played a crucial role in employee relations, benefit administration, and office operations. Mia provided administrative support to the Executive Director and Board of Directors and developed a new employee orientation program. Mia also identified staff needs and organized individual and group training sessions.

In 2005, Mia joined Open Door Community Health Centers as a Clinic Site Administrator. In this role, they effectively managed the operations of the clinic site. Mia held this position until 2015, during which they took on the additional responsibility of Director Telemedicine and Referrals. This involved overseeing the implementation and management of telemedicine services and referrals.

In 2018, Mia was promoted to the role of Director Clinical Support Services at Open Door Community Health Centers. Mia currently holds this position, where they continue to contribute to the organization's success.

Mia Houlberg has a Master of Fine Arts degree from the University of California, Davis. In 2016, they also attended the Cascadia Center for Leadership and the HSU- Leading Organizational & Community Change programs, though it is not specified if they obtained any degrees or majors from these institutions.
