Tory Starr

Tory has worked in the field of performance / quality improvement for over 30 years, in both community health and acute care settings. Over his career working at organizations navigating health care transition, Tory has focused on organizational development and change management.

Tory received his undergraduate degree in Nursing from Humboldt State University and his Master of Science degree in Nursing from Walden University. He has a specialty certification in Infection Prevention and more than three decades of nursing practice, focused on population health management, community development, and cross-continuum care management. In 2012 Tory graduated from the California Health Care Foundation’s Health Care Leadership Program and has also taught at HSU’s Department of Nursing.

Tory is focused on facilitating collaboration between Open Door’s organizational and medical leadership, and clinical service teams, to make continuous quality improvement to care and service delivery to its patients across the North Coast.
