Adrienne Wheaton

Adrienne Wheaton has a diverse work experience, starting in 2000 as a Teacher at the Niagara Catholic District School Board, where they worked until 2007. In 2008, Adrienne became a Teacher at School District No. 48 (Sea to Sky) until 2011. During this time, they also worked as a Manager at The Nest Restaurant from 2008 to 2013. From 2014 to 2019, Adrienne worked as a Server at Toptable Group. In 2018, they joined WorkBC.ca as an Employment Services Facilitator, then became a Lead Employment Advisor from 2019 to 2020, and finally served as a Program Coordinator from 2020. Currently, Adrienne is the Associate Director of Learning & Development at Open Door Group.

Adrienne Wheaton is currently pursuing a degree in Learning Experience Design at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education of the University of Toronto, starting in 2022. Prior to this, they obtained an Honours Bachelor of Commerce in Hospitality Administration/Management from the University of Guelph. Additionally, they hold a certification in Elementary Teacher Education from D'Youville University. Adrienne is also certified by the Ontario College of Teachers with a Certificate of Qualification in Primary and Junior education. Adrienne has obtained additional certifications, including a Professional Program in Education from D'Youville College and a Wine & Spirit Education Trust Level 3 certification from WSET, though the specific dates are not provided.
